How to manage secret (Login password / Key pair / Import cloud credential from the cloud service) in Mavis?

  1. Click “Secret” on the side menu and click “Add secret”.


  2. Please provide the basic information for your secret.


  3. Select the Secret type: Login password, Key pair, Cloud credential
    1. Login password: Select a secret format for specific resource. And fill in the secret for your access service login.
      • Account and password (e.g. protocol SSH, RDP, SFTP, PostgreSQL, and web applications)



      • IAM user for AWS console (e.g. web application AWS)

      • Only password mandatory (e.g. protocol VNC)

    3. Cloud credential
      • Please select which provider you want to add. Mavis supports AWS, GCP, Azure, and VMWare. Due to the different cloud providers, the “Credential setting” required fields are also different.





      • After adding the cloud credential successfully, you can see the added credential information on the list page.
